I can't find my Windows XP OEM disc and my hard drive is failing, can I move the OS to another hard drive?

My hard drive has been acting funny and some diagnostics have confirmed some serious damage. I cannot, for the life of me, find my Windows XP Pro disc with the key. Is it possible to transfer the Windows XP OS to another hard drive without a reinstall or key? I should have kept better track of that disc.
