Is Pascal's Wager an example of an ad hominem argument?

No, but it's a good example of how cognitive bias can be relatively subtle in it's effects on a person's sense of logic. On the surface it seems a great argument, until you realise that it's taking for granted things that cannot be logically supported, such as the specific nature of which deity's do and don't exist, if any at all.
