How do the infidels (non Muslim non believers) learn to become more tolerant and understanding of Muslims..?

Are you surprised at what you just wrote? The Jihad section of the Koran clearly instructs Muslims how to handle non-Muslims. Read it. You won't like it. Their attitude is taken from their scriptures and many of these fanatics follow their scriptures to the letter. I am frankly surprised at the number of Muslims there are in the world today when the entire meaning of the Jihad section is war, killing, ransom or conversion.
