My septum piercing query?

It takes 6-8 weeks to heal completely so you should be able to switch out the jewelry.As,far as circular barbell keep in mind you need to get the same gauge you were pierced with .I know in our shop we use either a 16g or 14g if in doubt call the shop who did your piercing.Cuz,all shops are different.A horseshoe is usually what our customers like to change out to cuz,with captives there's a spring on the jewelry itself that holds the ball together.Its,usually best to have a friend present in case you are having issues with getting the captive bead on.If you want to get jewlery that's no istance required get a horseshoe though.It's circular like a captive but you don't have the bead in the middle thus eliminating the hle altogether.But,you have that go on the end of both sides of it that generally screw on.Keep,in mind though if you decide to get a horseshoe you want to make sure the have not loosened.As you may loose a ball.
