Renters Rights in Colorado?

In most states, the landlord is responsible for the cost of pest extermination (especially if it's not caused by you). You can't just withhold rent--that's why the people got evicted. What you have to do is file in court stating that the landlord isn't fulfilling their responsibilities, and request the court to put your rent into escrow. You still pay your rent every month, but to the escrow account the court sets up. They don't receive it until the problem is resolved. In some cases the court can order a reduction in rent as well until the problem is resolved.
