Yahoo answeres...a hypertonic salt solution has a higher concentration of solutes than a blood cell. explain w?

By definition, a hypertonic solution is one that contains a relatively higher concentration of solutes. So, if a blood cell only has about 0.9% salt, a solution hypertonic relative to that cell would contain more than 0.9% salt.
